We like to get to know our clients. The more we know about them the better we can anticipate their needs. By the same token, we want them to feel comfortable knowing who they are dealing with.
We are a family team, with old-fashioned family values.
Over a short span of years, we have grown from a team of just two to presently a team of ten. The growth in our team was primarily necessary in order to keep up with the tremendous growth in our property management side of the house. While the real estate sales market was taking a nosedive a few years back, the property management side was growing by leaps and bounds. However, property management requires a large support staff to be efficient.
So don't be put off by our new label of "Large Team." We may be growing, but that's only to enable us to serve you better. We have hired additional staff to ensure that our quality of service is not only maintained, but improved upon. We are continually learning and trying new marketing techniques and constantly striving to find better ways to improve upon every aspect of our business. But most importantly, even with all the new technology we have to keep up with, our number one goal is providing our clients good "old-fashioned type" of one-on-one personalized service...the kind of service that we built our business on when we were only just a team of two.
So whether you are a first time home buyer, an investor, or want to list your home for sale, our team is here ready to help. We can call, we can text, and we can email, but most of all whenever possible, we really enjoy sitting down with you at your kitchen table and just talking about all your real estate needs face to face, the good old-fashioned way.
Amy Doll
The eldest of the Doll daughters, Amy Doll is a 1999 US Naval Academy Graduate.
After serving on active duty for more than 8 years as an E-2 NFO, she changed
over to the active reserve status and joined her father in real estate full time.
Amy Doll is a successful agent who has a great understanding of the current real estate market, and possesses exceptional negotiating skills. Her clients are always grateful to have Amy Doll sitting on their side of the table when the contract negotiations begin.
Melissa Humpert
My name is Melissa Humpert. I am a mother of three wonderful boys, Matthew (20), Zachary (19), and Jacob (18), and wife to my amazing husband Scott Humpert. I have been a licensed Real Estate Agent for 21 years where I worked behind the scenes with the Doll Team doing marketing. During this time I also ran my own in-home daycare business, which enabled me to be at home and raise my three boys. In June of 2024 my youngest son graduated high school and that is when I went full time Real Estate. For 21 years I enjoyed being a vital part of helping families raise their children, now it brings me great joy to walk them through one of the biggest and most important decisions of their lives. Whether it is buying, selling, or renting your home, I am always here to help.
Jennifer Stimpson
Jennifer Stimpson has been local to Chesapeake for the past 18 years. Her passion is to work with families, helping them with one of the most important purchases of their lives. David Meyer
Born and raised in Hampton Roads, David is a true local to this area. Growing up with a father who is an active real estate investor and a grandfather who is a fellow REALTOR, David aspired to follow in their footsteps. At the young age of 18, David earned his real estate license and today, he is a vital part of the Doll Team. David has a passion for helping others learn the benefits of home ownership and real estate investing. Susan McLean
Susan McLean joined the Steve Doll Real Estate Team in October 2010 She has over twelve years of experience working in real estate and customer service. Susan is the Team's "Go-To Girl" for anything and everything related to sales, listings, and property management.

Steve and Donna Doll
Steve and Donna Doll, have been married since 1975. They moved to Virginia Beach in 1985 as Steve reported for duty aboard the USS John F Kennedy. In 1995, after three back to back tours in Norfolk, Steve retired from the US Navy and continued with his career in real estate. Donna, also a licensed Realtor, retired from her job at a local technical college and joined him in the business a couple years later to work behind the scenes handling the photography, websites, and internet marketing.
