Application Process

Our Rental Application Process

  1. Complete the Application:

    Each person 18 years of age or older who will be living in the home must complete a separate application.

  2. Application Fee:

    There is a $55 non-refundable application fee per applicant (18+). The application fee must be paid in order for your application to be submitted and reviewed.

  3. Submitting Your Application:

    If you live outside the local area, please call us first to confirm the home is still available and to let us know you are submitting an application. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.We do not hold properties for anyone, so expediting the application to us can sometimes be very important to ensure your opportunity to rent the property.

  4. Application Approval & Security Deposit

    Once your application is approved, we will contact you to collect the security deposit.

    • The security deposit must be paid within 24 hours of approval.
    • This payment reserves the property for you until the lease is signed.
    • Even with an approved application, the property will remain on the market until the security deposit is received.
    • Payment must be made by cashier’s check, money order, or wire, payable to RE/MAX Alliance.

  5. Lease Signing

    After your application is approved and the security deposit has been received, a member of our team will reach out to confirm lease details.

    • Your lease will be sent electronically via email.
    • Each applicant must provide a separate email address to receive and sign the lease.

  6. First Month’s Rent & Pet Fees

    • Your first month’s prorated rent is due on the lease start date.
    • For the first month only, payment must be made by money order or cashier’s check.
    • Rent will be prorated based on your lease start date.
    • If you have an approved pet, a non-refundable pet fee of $500 per pet is due at this time.

  7. Ongoing Monthly Rent Payments

    Monthly rent is due on the 1st of each month.
    We encourage all residents to pay rent through the AppFolio online portal. Your login information will be emailed to you once your lease has been finalized.
